Some of our work has impacted the insolvency industry in the Cayman Islands. For instance, we were the first firm to be appointed liquidators to a foreign registered company in the Cayman Islands, and the Cayman Islands' Companies Law has been revised accordingly. We also were the first firm in the Cayman Islands to enter a protocol agreement with a U.S. court-appointed receiver to avoid the issues and debate with foreign recognition.
