Michael returned to the Cayman Islands after a stint in London, United Kingdom, where he worked on the liquidation of the Thomas Cook Group, a global travel group and airline with £10 billion in revenue and approximately 200 entities worldwide. In his prior tenure in the Cayman Islands, Michael led several restructuring and insolvency engagements across a number of offshore jurisdictions including The Bahamas, Bermuda and the British Virgin Islands.
Having advised large companies and funds through the complexities of cross-border insolvency, he can provide practical knowledge to resolve problems for financially distressed companies. His breadth of experience includes corporate bankruptcy and personal insolvency appointments, and advisory work including anti-money laundering engagements.
