As a qualified accountant and a licensed insolvency practitioner, Joe has developed a
highly technical skill set that effectively addresses the financial, regulatory, and practical
business matters facing clients in distressed situations. In previous tenures with the
restructuring teams of KPMG and Deloitte in Canada, he has demonstrated effective
problem solving when developing solutions tailored to the needs of various
stakeholders.
Joe has significant experience in complex and litigious matters, particularly in relation
to fraud investigations and asset recoveries under insolvency engagements. Joe is
specialized in performing a risk analysis to provide advise client on their options, and
give recommendation on how to proceed and maximize value. Joe has previous
experience in pursuing a wide variety of parties for financial recoveries to the benefit
of stakeholders, including company directors, c-suite employees, shareholders,
creditors, and debtors. In the past, Joe has performed speaking engagements to various
groups on developments in insolvency matters, including presentations to banks, law
firms, and business groups.
