Alexander arrived in the Cayman Islands in May 2024 after working with Hall Chadwick in both Sydney and Perth, Australia for over 12 years. During Alexander’s time with Hall Chadwick he worked most recently on the Chris Marco AUD260m suspected ponzi scheme, and the Administration of AMS Holdings (WA) Pty Limited, a Marco related entity. The suspected ponzi scheme is one of the largest in Australian history.
Alexander has also worked on a number of high-profile Australian liquidations and receiverships including Equititrust Limited, a financial organisation with creditors in excess of AUD$194 million and Balmaine Gold which included the preparation of solvency reports for the Court.
Having advised large companies and funds through the complexities of both national and cross-border insolvency, Alexander has shown to be able to provide practical experience in resolving problems for financially distressed companies.
