Harris Recognised as Ambassador On and Off the Pitch
At KRyS Global, we try to recognise the success of our people both in and out of the office. Earlier this month, Andrea Harris of our Guernsey office was named the Guernsey Raiders Club Ambassador of the Year for the 2016/17 season, an incredible achievement given Andrea only picked up rugby three years ago. The accolade concluded a great season for Andrea as she was part of the squad that won the Ladies National Conference 1 South East South League title, earning promotion to Championship 2 South West league for the coming season. Andrea was also awarded her second Siam Cup cap – the annual grudge match between the Guernsey and Jersey teams – which the Ladies won 43-0, retaining the Cup for the 6th consecutive year.
Club President Martin Belcher said, “Andrea has been an excellent Ambassador for the Club both on and off the pitch. She was part of the ladies team that won the league in a very impressive style, while off the pitch she gave firm financial leadership and guidance in her role as Honorary Treasurer which has been lacking in the recent past. She has also helped to put the Club on a firm financial footing for the future.”KRyS Global is a proud sponsor of both the Men’s and Ladies’ rugby teams in Guernsey. The Men’s First XV finished 5th in their league campaign, which is the best ever finish for them, and finished just shy of Jersey in the Siam Cup – which has been dominated by Jersey for the past 9 years.
